| Advisor | Emily Carr Emily currently works as a project manager for Gensler Architecture + Design. Prior to Gensler, she held design and project management positions with Threespot Media, The Design Channel and washingtonpost.com, and she has also worked with numerous area design firms as a freelancer. A graduate of the Communications Design master's program at The University of Baltimore, she has also taught web design at The Corcoran College of Art & Design, The Art Institute of Washington and The University of Baltimore. | Advisor | Tamera Lawrence Tamera is graphic designer, entrepreneur, advisor, co-founder, and her favorite title, fairy godmother. She has been self-employed for 15 years, founding and partnering in a number of successful design studios. Her creative time is currently divided between Cirque, a creative development studio, and SingleTease, a retail company she co-founded that develops products to help singles break the ice. She was an adjunct professor at the Corcoran College of Art and a past president of AIGA DC.
